What's Up

I'm back from a couple weeks' vacation where we did lots of stuff like this: .

I read a couple books including my first Ellen Hopkins novel, Glass, which completely blew me away.  I didn't even know it was in verse until I cracked it open.  Unbelievably amazing.  I'm still thinking about it, almost three weeks later.

Then we came back and I cleaned all the things, began the back to school drill.  My middle guy started kindergarten which was awesome and sad all together.  I was glad to walk out of the building with one little guy still holding my hand.

By next week, everyone will be back on their normal schedule and I'll be back to writing which I've been mostly away from this past month.  Normally, I'd be itchy about not having done any work for so long, but I'm in a holding pattern with projects right now - waiting for feedback - so the timing was actually perfect.

And in book news...The Mark is out in paperback, maybe at a store near you, definitely online, The Vision comes out in exactly two weeks, and both are up for grabs at Goodreads through 9/24: The Mark giveaway is here and The Vision is here.
