My editor's given the go-ahead to share:
I got my first look at it two weeks ago. There was definitely some anxiety opening the attachment. They say not to judge a book by its cover, but of course everyone does.
My editor and I hadn't talked at all about Bloomsbury's thoughts on it so I had no idea what to expect. I'd imagined something like the picture on my webpage or something iconic, like Twilight (though had no idea what kind of icon they might use), but really it could have been anything.
Fortunately, I loved it.
And just to be sure I wasn't just loving it because it's-the-cover-of-my-book-and-I'm-feeling-like-I-could-love-anything-about-this-whole-experience, I emailed it to a few trusted critics. They loved it, too.
Hope everyone else feels the same way!
