It’s already on Amazon, Goodreads, and The Tenners. Borders, IndieBound and B&N aren’t updated yet… AND B&N has my name wrong
But I can’t believe I forgot to post it here: the almost-final new cover for The Mark:

The more I look at it, the more and more (and more!) I like it.
I loved the old one, but I actually think this is more impactful, more interesting and I really like the action, the seeds flying away and how they tie into themes of the story.
What do you think?

J: love, love, love the new cover art. There’s an intriguing/mysterious quality about it that definitely tops the first one. I think you came out on the winning side of this one.

I found you via The Tenners and just had to say that I adore your cover. I’d definitely pick it up to see what’s inside!

This cover is amazing, really like the dandelion they used, makes the book seem fragile?!? And that quote, WoW, that would so make me want to buy the book.

Thanks, Carla! I really like the dandelion, too – it works on so many levels. There was some talk about not using that quote so I’ll definitely pass on your feedback!!

No it’s totally works, because you make wishes on danfelion flowers, which makes the connection to the quote. I thought it was really clever! : )

Wow, gorgeous cover! If I glanced at that sitting lonely (lonely because everyone has bought all the other copies and now they’re understocked!) on a shelf, then I would definitely pick it up to see more. It makes an impressive first impression because it’s so pretty!
