Getting From Point A to Point Z

September 11th, 2010

I’m guest posting at http://lesleysays.livejournal.com today on how I fill the pages between the inspired beginning and inspired end of a novel’s draft.

Plus, Lesley has lots of great guest posts as part of the Complete Your Draft Challenge this month.  C’mon over and check it out!

Great post! I’m sitting down now ready to rewrite most of my manuscript, and I am staring at chapter four. I have my new and improved ending written down in a notebook but I don’t know where to go right now. Your post really helped!

The start of revisions is my second least fave part of writing, I think. It seems so overwhelming sometimes. I’m about a week away from where you are right now and dragging my heels on getting there – good luck!

Thanks! What drives me is reading blog posts like this one, and keeping in mind just how badly I want it. It does seem overwhelming, but I know it will be well worth it in the end.
