The 2010-ers are a group of writers whose first Young Adult or Middle Grade novel will be out in 2010;  books like:

THE LINE (Teri Hall) – I’m a sucker for the everyone-is-dead story (The Stand, The Last Ship, On the Beach, that horrible Night of the Comet movie).  This has that same people-in-isolation intrigue.

THE SECRET YEAR (Jennifer Hubbard) - a secret relationship with a tragic end, journal left behind…

SEA (Heidi Kling) -  I love the post-Tsunami Indonesia setting, the mysteriously disappeared mother, forbidden relationship.

THE FOURTH STALL (Chris Rylander) – I don’t usually read middle-grade, but his bio made me laugh.  Bet his book will, too.
